The Bekasi Regency Statistics Agency (BPS) commemorated the 77th National Defense Day in 2025. The roll call was led by Mr. Irwanto, S.Si, MM, an Associate Expert at the Bekasi Regency BPS. The ceremony was attended by all BPS Regency employees and students interning at the BPS Bekasi Regency.
The National Defense Day in Indonesia is commemorated every December 19th.
Background
National Defense Day refers to the Emergency Government of the Republic of Indonesia (PDRI), established on December 19, 1948, in West Sumatra. The PDRI maintained the continuity of the Indonesian government during the Second Dutch Military Aggression, thus preserving the nation's sovereignty. Purpose of Commemoration
