Abstract

Data and information are needed in order to support the planning, implementation and evaluation of development results so that they can run well. Data on socio-economic conditions is needed to provide an overview of development achievements and can also be used by policy makers to evaluate development programs. Data related to people's living needs such as clothing, food, shelter, education, health, security and job opportunities is needed to find out how far the achievement of development results reaches all levels of society. The National Socio-Economic Survey (Susenas) is designed to produce socioeconomic data on the population in the education, health, housing, crime, socio-cultural, tourism, and community perceptions sectors of household welfare. Starting in 2015, Susenas data collection is carried out twice a year, namely in March and September. The 2021 Bekasi Regency People's Welfare Statistics publication is the result of data collection through the March 2021 Susenas Kor questionnaire (VSEN20.K List). This publication is presented as a percentage of the population in Bekasi Regency. Some data are also disaggregated by sex to meet the needs of gender gap analysis. With the publication of this book, it is hoped that the need for statistical data on the welfare of the people can mostly be met.
